Hanging Out wif A Besfren~!! ^_^

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Sori about not updating my blog as regularly as I used to. I'm a bit busy wif my studies. And since I commute every day to class via the bus, I always get home feeling extremely tired & don't go online at all.

Anyway, so...like I promised, I'm gonna tell about the events that happened last week. Hehe.. ^_^

Remember that I got free movies passes from Nuffnang & TGV Cinemas? (Click here to read about it) Well...since the passes were nearing their expiry, I decided to go watch movies wif my frens. I asked all of my 6 besfrens, but only 1 could come, Syud.

So, after a bit of discussion, we decided to go to The Mines last Friday. We met there at 1.30 p.m. And the only movie available at that time was "Klip 3GP". The other movies were showing later in the afternoon. So, since we had no choice, we watched the Malay movie.

If you haven't watched this movie yet, then don't!!! To me, this is the most boring & not-so-good-to-be-watched movie there ever is. Fortunately for us, we watched it for free. (Coz I wouldn't be wasting my money for a movie like this!) "-_-

So, after the movies, we went to perform our solah. Then we ate late lunch at Pizza Hut. Wanna know what we ate?

Ultimate Cheesy 7 pizza, a new one in Pizza Hut. For cheese-lovers out there, you should definitely try this owh-so-deliciously-cheesy pizza~!!! ^_^ Yeah, it's all cheese.. But you can add-on chicken pepperoni etc at a RM2 charge.

Syud has been generous enough to treat me. She said that since I got the movie tickets, then she'd like to treat me the pizza. So nice of her!! We talked and ate, and ate, and talked some more.. There's so much to talk about. The last time we saw each other was during Ramadhan last year. (Click here to read about it.)

After that, we browsed through The Mines a little bit, while talking of course. When Ummi (my mom) called to pick me up, she suggested that Syud sleep over at our house. Syud quickly agreed as she has yet to meet my daughter, Hannah. ^_^

Back at my house, we talked a bit more, exchanged a lot of stories of our times in boarding school together...and so on. On Saturday afternoon, my family & I sent her back to her hostel in UKM.

What makes me sad is that we both didn't take any pics of our time together~.. huhu~... T_T We totally forgot about it as we were busy catching up with each other's stories. Nevermind, I'm sure to meet Syud again next time, hehe~.. >_<

NIEW Ladies Carnival @ UM

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Last Tuesday, there was a big event in UM. It was the NIEW Ladies Carnival. NIEW stands for NAM Institute for the Empowerment of Women. (OK, I googled that word juz now)

There were a lot of booths & activities going on at the carnival. But I could only spend an hour there as I had classes to attend to. Big names were attending the event, such as Dato' Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, and even celebrities like Adam, Ana Raffali, Bienda & Najwa Latif. (But I couldn't meet them all, huhu~... "-_-)

There was this big poster hung up, where girls wrote some message & signed on it. It was to show our support for the empowerment of women.

I also joined as well. My message is at the very bottom. Here's a close-up of what I wrote, hihi~..

A carnival/event like this should be held more often in UM & other local universities. It helps in sending out the message of women's rights in Malaysia & worldwide. (There was a talk about how to prevent & curb baby-dumping)

Hepi 23rd B'day......to me~!!!!!

Salam n hye everyone~!!

It's my b'day today, hihi~.. And it's also the 3rd day of Eid. I don't think I'll be celebrating my b'day today as I'll be busy visiting relatives.

I'm now 23 years old. Isn't that a lovely number? At this age, I've achieved in being a wife & a mother, hehe.. And I hope to graduate my study, before I turn a year older. (Insya-Allah, that will come true, hihi~.. ^_^)

So....hepi b'day to me~!!! Haha..

Hepi Raye Day 2011~!!!! ^_^

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Today is the 1st day of Eid. Of course, this is a scheduled entry, hehe.. I don't know if anyone will be blogging today, right?

I'd juz like to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya AidilFitri and Eid Mubarak. Hope all of you will celebrate this special day with happiness and joy. Don't forget to seek forgiveness from our family, relatives and frens.

I'd like to apologise if I've done any wrong since I've started blogging. And I forgive you all the same. >_<

A happy family~!!!

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Sori that I haven't been online for 3 days. I was actually on holiday wif Hannah & Hubby. Here's what happened from 26 - 28 July 2011.

Last Tuesday, Hannah & I met Hubby at KL Sentral at 10 am. We checked in into a hotel & put our bags and stuff there. Since Hubby has juz got back from his outstation in Terengganu, he wanted to rest at the hotel. Meanwhile, Hannah & I went to KLCC to meet my ex-school frens Tirah & Tiqs as we had promised to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 together.

We bought tickets at a student price, coz we are still students, hehe.. I haven't met Tirah & Tiqs since we left secondary schoool. Well, I did meet Tirah at the wedding the other day though, hehe.. It's nice to see old frens again.

FYI, although I've watched movies at KLCC a few times before wif Hubby or frens, but this was the 1st time Hannah was going to a cinema. And she behaved pretty well. ^_^ She sat on an empty seat beside me and ate popcorn while watching the movie.

The movie was awesome~!!!!! As a Harry Potter fan, I think this is the best movie of the franchise! >_< For those who haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend you to do so.

After the movie, we went for Zohor prayers & then went to eat lunch. After some more chit chat, we then said our goodbyes at the LRT station. The sad thing was that we didn't snap any pics, evethough I was carrying a camera in my pocket all along. I simply forgot! Maybe I was juz too hepi & excited to meet my frens, hehe..

Hannah & I went back to KL Sentral and went to the hotel that we were staying at. Hubby was already awake by then. It's been over one month since I last met Hubby. Hihi~.. ^_^

We didn't really go shopping or do much on our three days together. We juz wanted to hang out together as a family. Hubby & I exchanged stories and probs like we're besfrens who haven't seen each other for months! >_<

Israk Mikraj celebration

Salam n hye everyone~!!

How is your weekend? Hehe.. On the previous Friday night, my famly & I went to the mosque in our residential area for an Israk Mikraj celebration.

The mosque, Masjid Al-Istiqamah had invited Ustaz Haslin Baharin to give a speech on Israk Mikraj. He's a famous ustaz & preacher, he's been on air in Al-Kuliyyah @ TV3 & Tanyalah Ustaz @ TV9 several times. (If u still don't know him, juz google him, hehe..)

Ustaz Haslin's speech was very good. If u're a Muslim, then you should know that Israk Mikraj is the day when our prophet Nabi Muhammad S.A.W went to have his heart cleaned out. So in his speech, Ustaz Haslin talked about how to make our heart good & clean (hati yang baik & bersih).

Quoting what Ustaz Haslin said, "There are 3 components of a good heart (hati yang baik): iman, ilmu (knowledge) & hikmah." If we have all 3 components, insyaAllah, we will be avoided of doing bad deeds that will blacken our heart.

Juz wanted to share wif u this tiny bit of info as a Muslim. Till then, thanks a bunch for reading & happy blogging~!!!

Upin & Ipin @ Selangor Book Fair 2011

Salam n hye everyone~!!!

This is a little bit of continuation to my previous entry. Hehe..

So...earlier I said that I saw 2 famous Malaysian stars at the Selangor Book Fair 2011. It was Upin & Ipin!!!! >_<

There were a lot of activities done by Upin & Ipin and the 2 hosts. They did a "Chicken Dance" activity, a blowing ballons competition, an activity where the kids had to imitate voices of some famous characters in the cartoon & so much more!The Selangor Book Fair at SACC Conevention Centre will be held until 3 July 2011. If you're anywhere near Shah Alam, do come to the book fair! There's loads of books offered at special promotional prices!!

I saw HIM & HER at the Royal Wedding~!!!

Yesterday was the Royal Wedding of Prince William & Kate Middleton. The couple were lovely, both were handsome & pretty. But I have to admit, I think Princess Diana was far more beautiful during her wedding with Charles, hehe...

Anyway, besides watching the fairytale wedding, my eyes were glued to the TV in search of HIM & HER. Who u say? Well, it's David Beckham & Victoria, of course!!!!

I came home late bcoz I had 2 exam papers to attend to (click here --> 3 BIG events on 29 April 2011~!!!!! <-- to read about it). When I switched on the TV, it was already 6pm, and Kate was coming down the aisle with her father, Michael Middleton. So, I missed the glimpses of Beckham & Posh arriving at the wedding.

Fortunately for me, there was a repeat of the Royal Wedding this morning on ntv7 & BBC Knowledge. Yes, finally I did get to see my fave celeb couple~!!!!

Below are pics from various sources (which I juz googled, hehe..) of Becks & Posh at the wedding. Mind you, Victoria is pregnant with their 4th child. She's wearing a maternity dress of her own creation (she is a designer, you know..). Beckham, on the other hand, was wearing Ralph Lauren from head to toe.

Invitation to Hunny Kitty's Wedding~!!!

I'm invited by Sya a.k.a Hunny Kitty to attend her much-anticipated hello kitty-themed wedding. It's going to be on this Saturday, 30 April 2011.

I'm glad to be invited to such a wedding, but I'm not quite sure if I can make it. I have 2 exam papers this Friday (29 April 2011) & 4 more exams the following two weeks.

If I do attend the wedding, I'll tell you all about it, ok? Hihi~... ^_^

Hannah Husna's 2nd B'day Party~!!

Last Saturday (23 April 2011), I organised a b'day party for my daughter, Hannah. Yes, I can't call here "Baby Hannah" anymore since she's now turned 2. So..it will be Hannah in my posts from now on, hihi~... Here's an update of the party.

I invited lots of frens via Facebook & email, but since it's the study week + exams are coming (and starting today!!), so many of them couldn't come. Only 2 of my frens came: Olivia - my UM coursemate & Yana - my old fren from primary school. Yana brought along her sister, Iqa as well.
