I'm sori that I took so long to answer your questions, Ina. Hihi~.... Here are my answers.

1) Apa masakan pertama yang u all masak selepas kahwin untuk hubby u all?

- Ermmm.. truthfully, I dunno how to cook. But I have cooked before, hehe.. The 1st ever dish that I've cooked for Hubby is ikan masak kuning. Hubby does more cooking than I do.. "-_-

2) Apa makanan yang u all masak yang menjadi kegemaran hubby u all.. (bagi resepi sekali yer.. sebab saya pun nak try buat jugak...hahhahaaha)

- Plz refer to the answer above, hehe... I got it from a recipe book. If u want the recipe, Ina, I'll give it to you later, hehe.. Hubby said he liked the dish very much! >_<

3) Bagi 5 perangai u all yang buat hubby u all tertawan & kawan2 u all happy dengan perangai u all tu..

- I really dunno how to answer this question, huhu~.. Maybe Hubby & my frens like me bcoz I'm a good listener, I appreciate frens (and my husband too), I'm friendly but yet shy, I'm eager to help someone in need if I can....and I'm humble.. >_< (I dunno what others think of me la...)

4) Lepas kahwin, u all duduk dengan family or mentua or berdua je dengan hubby

- Currently, Hannah & I are staying wif my family, while Hubby is all the way over at Kelantan. This is bcoz of my studies.. Wish I could graduate now!! "-_-

5) Detik2 perkenalan u all & hubby

- I knew Hubby from a comic magazine. From there, we communicated via SMS & phone calls. After a month of being frens, we became a couple. And after 3 years, we got married, hihi~...

6) Siapa yang bagi nama untuk anak2 u all

- Hubby came up wif the names "Nur" and "Husna". While Ummi suggested the name "Hannah". Bcoz at that time, Hannah Montana was big hit, hihi~.. So, my daughter's name is Nur Hannah Husna, which means cahaya kasih sayang yang lawa/baik.

7) Ke manakah destinasi yang u all nak sangat pergi honeymoon lagi sekali

- I would really love to go to Cameron Highlands if I have the chance. I really like it there! Wish I could live there as well, hehe..

8) Antara u all & hubby siapa yang lebih romantik

- That should be Hubby. He's very romantic sometimes. He's the one who would buy me stuff even though I didn't ask for it. He's the one who says "I luv u" to me every single day. ^_^ Luv u too, Hubby~!!

9) Apa harapan u all untuk anak2 u all

- I hope & pray that Hannah will grow up to be a good & caring daughter. That she obeys Allah, her religion & her parents. Amin...

10) Bagaimana u all mendidik anak2

- So far, I've only taught Hannah a few simple words. She knows the alphabet (a little) and she know numbers up till 10 (both Malay & English). As for Iqra', Hannah juz knows a (alif) & ba. I teach her via books, toys, TV and the internet. ^_^

11) Anak2 u all ikut perangai u all or hubby

- Haha..both of us, I think. She's emotional & manja, juz like me. And she can be hot-tempered & adventurous, like her papa.

I've been tagged by Ina to answer a few questions regarding my 1st child. Let's answer them!! Psstt... click here to read Ina's entry.


1. How old were you when your first child was born?
- I was 21 years old when I first had Hannah. Yeah, I got married at the age of 20. ^_^


2. What month and year was your youngest child born?
- Hannah was born on 23 April 2009, at 3.40 a.m. I memorise her b'day via these numbers: 234. Hihi~.. It was an early Thursday morning. And it was during the middle of my exam week.


3. How did you feel when you first found out you were pregnant?
- Of course I was very, very nervous & excited at the same time. We never did plan the pregnancy, it juz happened. And did you know, it was until I was 5 months pregnant that I went to for check-ups, coz I didn't know I had to go before, hehe..


4. Who did you tell first?
- Hubby, of course. When my period didn't come that month (August 2008), we went to buy a pregnancy test kit from a pharmacy & tested at home. It was positive. Both Hubby & I were surprised, hihi~..


5. How many pounds/kg did you gain during your first pregnancy
- Oh my...I dunno if I should tell you this, I feel so embarrassed, huhu~.. I gained 12 kg when I was pregnant wif Hannah. Yeah, I'm serious! And till now, I haven't been able to get my weight like before pregnancy. "-_-


6. What did you crave while you were pregnant?
- I didn't crave for anything, seriously. I experienced a very smooth yet tiring pregnancy. ^_^


7. Did you find out the gender of your first child? Why or why not?
- I only did 1 scan when I was pregnant, and that was when my pregnancy was 8 months old. The doctor told me that the baby would most probably be a girl...and she was right! I didn't really mind what gender my baby was, as long as the baby's healthy & cute! ^_^


8. Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?
- Nope, Alhamdulillah.. I had no complications whatsoever. No fevers, morning sickness etc, etc. Lucky me, I guess!


9. How much did your first child weigh?
- Hannah weighed 3.5 kg when she was born. She wasn't really that big, you know. Juz heavy, like her mother, hehe.. >_<


10. Was your first child early, late, or on time?
- Hannah was late one day than expected. Well, she was actually a few hours late, since she was born in the wee hours of the morning. So, she's a healthy baby!


11. What is the most difficult challenge or health issue that any of your children have faced?
- Hannah is a healthy child. She doesn't fall sick often. But there was one incident that I nearly thought that I would lose her. Click here to read about it.


12. What's your favorite part of being a mom?
- Being able to see my child grow up in front of me. And I love buying stuffs for her, like toys, clothes etc. ^_^ That's the best part. 


13. Do you think it's easier to be a mom or a dad?
- Neither one has an easier job. We both have responsibilities upon our child. Although Hannah spends more time wif me, she never forgets her papa.


14. What is the best piece of advice you could give to someone who is about to have their first child?
- To take good care of yourself. Keep yourself full wif knowledge about being a parent-to-be, that's extremely crucial. Be sure that you are financially & emotionally stable. And make sure that you are ready to have the baby. ^_^


15. Did you always think you'd have kids?
- Of course, yes! I'd want 4-5 children, insya-Allah. Hihi~.. Ii love having kids. >_< If I were barren (mandul), I would have loved to adopt babies/children.


16. What's been the biggest surprise about motherhood?
- I'll never know what to expect of Hannah. She's always full of surprises. She learns something new every day, and she surprises me by being able to construct new words that she learned from TV.


17. Are there things you miss about life before kids?
- That would be...hanging out wif my frens. Since I'm a mother, I seldom go out wif my frens anymore. I have a commitment to attend to, hihi~...


18. How many children do you have?
- Currently only one daughter. Nur Hannah Husna binti Mohd Faizal. My cute 2-year-old daughter. 


19. Do you plan to have any more children?
- Yes, I do, I do!! I'd love to have 3-4 more children, hehe.. Labour pains have never made me frighten to be pregnant again. And since my 1st pregnancy was a breeze, I'd wouldn't mind bearing another baby in my tummy. ^_^


20. Who's the mom that you admire most?
- Ummi, my mother. She's a mother of six children. And she's a working mother. Ummi has done so much for me & my siblings that not even 1 billion dollars could seem enough to pay back all that she did.

Hannah & soft toys~...

Salam n hye everyone~!!


Early this month, my family & I sent my bro Ayep to KLIA. He's going to India to further his studies in medicine. Yeah, now there are 2 doctor-to-bes in my family. 


It's been years since I last went to KLIA. There are some changes that I have noticed. I like going to KLIA, the airport seems like a very nice & clean place to be in. ^_^


While waiting for Ayep to enter the boarding gate, Hannah was quite interested in a stall that sold lots & lots of soft toys. 

Like any other child, Hannah certainly loves soft toys. So..these are the pics that I took of her. 

I especially like this pic below, coz Hannah looks soooo cute! (Haha..complimenting my own daughter~... ^_^)

But of course, the prices of things in KLIA are expensive. So Hannah could only look at them, huhu~.. Nevermind Hannah, I'll buy you a soft toy later, OK? >_<

Friso® had a promotion which juz ended 15 September 2011. They're giving away cute Friso® Agent soft toys to their customers. All you have to do is send the receipt & proof of purchase, along wif your choice of toy. There are 3 choices.


I sent 3 forms, so that I could get all 3 toys, hihi~.. I juz sent them on Monday (12 September 2011) last week, a few days before the promotion ended.


Today, I received the cute toys. Plus, a letter of thanks from Friso®. Wanna look at them?

I stuck the toys at the freezer. The fridge is only for magnets, the freezer is for toys like these, hehe..

We both got duit raya~!!

Salam n hye everyone~!!

How is your Eid celebration? Hope no one has lost a finger due to playing fireworks...hihi~... But I'm sure most people have gained 1 kg or more during this festive season.. (coz I have!!! >_<)

How much duit raya did you get? Hannah's is now RM150++. A bit lower than the money she got from last year's Eid, but not to worry, there are still more houses to visit. Besides, in Malaysia, we celebrate Eid for one whole month!! ^_^

Like last year, I also got duit raya, hihi~... This is the best part of being a young mother who is still a uni student. ^_^ Although what I got is not as much as Hannah's duit raya, but I'm still grateful that some of my aunts & uncles still give me duit raya.

There's not much pics snapped this Eid. That's bcoz my family's camera is faulty!! (Yeah, of all times, why on Eid???) So these are juz a few of pics for you to see..

My big family.. This is Ummi's part of the family. But not everyone is in the pic. Yup, there are a lot more cousins, aunts & uncles who are not in the pic.

The worst tragedy about Hannah that scared me~...

Salam n hye everyone~...

It all happened last Wednesday (24 August 2011). I was taking a shower with Hannah. It was one hour before the time to break fast. Hannah suddenly fell in front of my eyes. She fell backwards, hitting her head on the floor of the bathroom.

She cried for a few seconds, and all of a sudden she went silent. Her eyes went white & she was shaking all over. I immediately lifted her up, opened the door & called out to Bibik to fetch my parents.

My bro Kudin, who is a doctor-to-be, took Hannah out of my arms and asked me what happened. She was still unconcious. With all the panic running through the house, Ayah & Kudin quickly went into the car, bringing along a pair of Hannah's pyjamas & a diaper, as she was naked.

Meanwhile, I finished bathing and packed Hannah's stuff into a bag. Ummi & I went to the hospital afterwards, bringing some food for breaking fast.

Hannah was admitted to SDMC at Subang Jaya. It was dusk when Ummi & I arrived. At the emergency room Hannah was in, my little girl was looking sleepy. Ayah then told that the doctor had given her a dose of sleeping medicine. She needs to be asleep in order to x-ray her head.

While I carressed Hannah's hair softly to get her to sleep, Kudin explained what happened when they were on the way to the hospital. Since it was nearing breaking fast time, the main roads & highways had traffic congestions. Ayah spotted a traffic police & stopped him. The kind policeman escorted Ayah's car all the way tp the hospital in less than 20 minutes. Hannah gained conciosuness soon before arriving at SDMC.

After a few minutes, Hannah was asleep. The nurses took her away to scan her head, looking for any injuries since she hit her head during the fall. While waiting for Hannah, the four of us went to perform our Magrib prayers & also Solat Sunat Hajat to pray for Hannah's safety.

Since Hannah fell & went unconcious, I didn't stop crying. People kept looking at me at the hospital, but I didn't care as I was really worried for my daughter. I blamed myself for what happened to her.

Alhamdulillah.. The doctor explained to us that Hannah was OK, there were no serious injuries to her head. Only that she was now sick with fever. The doctor gave 2 different medicines. The 1st medicine was like a pill. It was to be inserted in her rectum if her body's temperature was higher that 38.5°. The other medicine was the usual liquid medicine for children with fever.

We went back home after that. Hannah woke up from her sleep & started talking like she usually does. I don't think she remembered anything about what happened to her.

I'm utterly grateful that my daughter is all right. Hubby has also helped in praying for her safety. I'm a bit traumatised myself. From this scary tragedy, I learnt a few things.

I'd like to advise every parent to take good care of our children, everywhere, even at home. We should never take our children for granted.

Salam everyone~... so much

I would juz like to express my gratitude to frens & bloggers alike, who have showed their concern by asking about Hannah. Thank you so much.

I have posted at my Facebook wall last Wednesday that I was going to the hospital bcoz Hannah fell and was unconcious. Many frens & bloggers have given me support & prayers for Hannah's safety & health.

I'd like to especially thank my frens Tirah, Fifah, Liliwati, Sharon & Intan, my cousin Kak Zura, my blogger frens MamaRifqy, Kak Fieda, Uyun, Lela Lelord, cikpuanhady, Nadiah Sidek, Kak Atie & aNiM for your comments on Facebook.

 And a special thanks to Ina a.k.a Ibu Alisha who SMSed me. And not forgetting those of you who I have not mentioned, thanks for all your concern & prayers.

Hannah is now OK, there were no serious injury. But she is currently down with fever.

I'll tell about the tragedy that has scared me so much in the next entry.

A baby bootie for Hannah... or Hannah's baby sibling??

Sori that I haven't been updating for awhile (as if anyone cared, huhu~..) Good news! Today I've received the prize for winning in Aida's giveaway. (Click here for the entry)

I received a pair of baby booties, a Sarawak pen, plus RM10 in cash!! Woohoo~.. FYI, the booties are sewn and made by Aida herself.

Hannah was so excited to try on the booties. She kept saying "Kasut baru, kasut baru.." (trans: "New shoes, new shoes..") But of course, they didn't fit her feet. I guess I'll keep these booties for Hannah's baby sibling, if I get pregnant again, hehe..

Or I could give them away to any of cousins who have a newborn, hehe.. Anyway, thanks Aida, the booties are sooo cute!

A happy family~!!!

Sori that I haven't been online for 3 days. I was actually on holiday wif Hannah & Hubby. Here's what happened from 26 - 28 July 2011.

Last Tuesday, Hannah & I met Hubby at KL Sentral at 10 am. We checked in into a hotel & put our bags and stuff there. Since Hubby has juz got back from his outstation in Terengganu, he wanted to rest at the hotel. Meanwhile, Hannah & I went to KLCC to meet my ex-school frens Tirah & Tiqs as we had promised to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 together.

We bought tickets at a student price, coz we are still students, hehe.. I haven't met Tirah & Tiqs since we left secondary schoool. Well, I did meet Tirah at the wedding the other day though, hehe.. It's nice to see old frens again.

FYI, although I've watched movies at KLCC a few times before wif Hubby or frens, but this was the 1st time Hannah was going to a cinema. And she behaved pretty well. ^_^ She sat on an empty seat beside me and ate popcorn while watching the movie.

The movie was awesome~!!!!! As a Harry Potter fan, I think this is the best movie of the franchise! >_< For those who haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend you to do so.

After the movie, we went for Zohor prayers & then went to eat lunch. After some more chit chat, we then said our goodbyes at the LRT station. The sad thing was that we didn't snap any pics, evethough I was carrying a camera in my pocket all along. I simply forgot! Maybe I was juz too hepi & excited to meet my frens, hehe..

Hannah & I went back to KL Sentral and went to the hotel that we were staying at. Hubby was already awake by then. It's been over one month since I last met Hubby. Hihi~.. ^_^

We didn't really go shopping or do much on our three days together. We juz wanted to hang out together as a family. Hubby & I exchanged stories and probs like we're besfrens who haven't seen each other for months! >_<
