Emma Watson's dropping out of college?

WHO?

Emma Watson is a star of the Harry Potter movies. She plays Hermione Granger, one of Harry's closest friends, apart from Ron Weasley. It's been stated on Movie Talk on Yahoo! Movies that Emma will be dropping out of college temporarily.

WHY?

Emma will be leaving the Ivy League school in Brown University temporarily, so that she could finish promoting the last movie of the Harry Potter series. After that, she would be resuming her studies.

"As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I've had so much to juggle that being a student and fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible"

--Note: Good for Emma! She's not stopping her studies like most celebrities, she's juz temporarily postponing her studies so that she could finish her work, & then focus on finishing her studies. Oooooh..I can't wait to watch The Deathly Hallows Part 2. Wait a minute..I haven't even watched part 1 yet!! Owh no~!! T_T

What are you reading now?

I find that people today read online. Is it good? I simply can't stand reading too long from the computer screen, it makes my eyes hurt & gives me a sore headache afterwards. Reading blogs is fine, but when it comes to novels n such, bye-bye from me then!

Online reading, hehe!! Not for me..

I totally prefer reading written stuff that are on paper. Full stop. It's either buy books or borrow them, simple as that. I find that I can engage myself better with books rather than e-books. I could bring a book anywhere, juz plop into a nice chair or sofa, n read pages after pages. As compared to e-books, I would have to open a laptop n stare at the screen - that's juz not comfy for me. Sorry!!

I'm not really a fan of newspapers, but I do read them once in a while. I used to love reading comic books & mangas, hihi~!! But that was before marriage. Now, I have moved on to parenting magazine, Pa&Ma. (I've written about this in a post last year. Click here to read it.)

Ok, ok.. So back to the real focus of this post. What are you bloggers reading now? I'm currently reading psychological thrillers by Stephen White. If you've watched The Mentalist, these books are somewhat like that but different altogether too. I've read Cold Case and Private Practices.

I have juz started reading Higher Authority - actually borrowed it this morning. Yup, I borrowed all three books form the UM main library. I haven't bought a book for a long, long time. I used to like buying books, but since being a wife + mother, I've got other things to buy which are more important, hehe..

Lunchdate~!!

Last Wednesday (2 March 2011), I had a lunchdate wif my dear fren, Shida. Sori for not writing about it earlier, I had to wait for Shida to upload the pics we've taken on Facebook.

It's been a while since Shida & I have been together. We used to be coursemates, but she has graduated her degree. She is now pursuing her Masters at the same faculty, hihi~.. So, I guess we are now what you call as faculty mates (if there is such a word).

We decided to hangout for lunch at Mid Valley Megamall & to exchange stories between us. We ate lunch at Teppanyaki restaurant, as suggested by Shida. So we talked, ate, talked, ate and talked some more.
