My first experience of fasting would be when I was in Scotland. Yup, that's right. If my memories are right, I started to learn fasting during the years when my family & I were abroad in Scotland.

At that time, I was around 7-8 years old. Ummi encouraged my bro Kudin & I to fast although we were in a non-Muslim country.

I tried my very best to fast...(I really did). But a few times, when I couldn't stand the temptations, I went to have a drink at the watercooler at school. Haha...so much for fasting. But I never did tell Ummi about it. XP

Being a little child in a foreign country at that time, I did find it a bit hard to fast. How was your 1st experience at fasting? >_<

A happy family~!!!

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Sori that I haven't been online for 3 days. I was actually on holiday wif Hannah & Hubby. Here's what happened from 26 - 28 July 2011.

Last Tuesday, Hannah & I met Hubby at KL Sentral at 10 am. We checked in into a hotel & put our bags and stuff there. Since Hubby has juz got back from his outstation in Terengganu, he wanted to rest at the hotel. Meanwhile, Hannah & I went to KLCC to meet my ex-school frens Tirah & Tiqs as we had promised to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 together.

We bought tickets at a student price, coz we are still students, hehe.. I haven't met Tirah & Tiqs since we left secondary schoool. Well, I did meet Tirah at the wedding the other day though, hehe.. It's nice to see old frens again.

FYI, although I've watched movies at KLCC a few times before wif Hubby or frens, but this was the 1st time Hannah was going to a cinema. And she behaved pretty well. ^_^ She sat on an empty seat beside me and ate popcorn while watching the movie.

The movie was awesome~!!!!! As a Harry Potter fan, I think this is the best movie of the franchise! >_< For those who haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend you to do so.

After the movie, we went for Zohor prayers & then went to eat lunch. After some more chit chat, we then said our goodbyes at the LRT station. The sad thing was that we didn't snap any pics, evethough I was carrying a camera in my pocket all along. I simply forgot! Maybe I was juz too hepi & excited to meet my frens, hehe..

Hannah & I went back to KL Sentral and went to the hotel that we were staying at. Hubby was already awake by then. It's been over one month since I last met Hubby. Hihi~.. ^_^

We didn't really go shopping or do much on our three days together. We juz wanted to hang out together as a family. Hubby & I exchanged stories and probs like we're besfrens who haven't seen each other for months! >_<

Got a RM20 worth of gift from Friso®~!!

Months ago, 7th March 2011 to be exact, Friso® sent me an email stating that I would be eligible to get a Friso® gift worth RM20 for free.

I became a member of Friso®'s Growing Up Together Club since 5 October 2010. So, I instantly updated my profile soon after I received the email.

And today, the gift has arrived. There was a small conversation  between me & the postman while I was signing the document he handed me.

Mr. Postman: "Cantik la rumah ni. Ade ala2 English style." (Trans: "This house is beautiful. It has a sense of English style.")

Me: "Ni rumah mak bapak." (Trans: "This is my parents' house")

Mr. Postman: "Owh....." (whatever that means, huhu.. "-_-)

So here's the Friso® gift that I received. It's a storage box. I might be using it for storing Hannah's toys.

They even sent a letter together with the gift, apologising for the lateness of delievering the gift.

 Hannah has been drinking the formula milk from Friso® ever since she was 3 months old. (Yeah, I know, sad..right?) And ever since that, I've been collecting tin foils & bar codes from the Friso® growing up milk. To this day, I have 1212 points.

Hannah's drinking this one now..

Unlike Huggies® which has a limited number of items to be redeemed, Friso® offers lots of items of all sorts, from toys to home appliances. I haven't redeemed anything yet. Maybe I'll wait till I have 2000 points so that I have more choices of items to choose from.

Anyone out there whose child consumes Friso® milk as well?

An exam, an assignment..and some prizes too~!!

This entry is all about what happened yesterday & why I haven't been blogging much in the past few days. (As if anyone cared, haha!!)

During my 2nd sem in 2009, I gave birth to Hannah right in the middle of the exam period. Bcoz of that, I couldn't attend 3 exam papers. So, yesterday, I had to attend one of the exam papers, which is Morphology of the English Language.

My lecturer requested that I re-submit my assignment, so as to get better marks, maybe. My assignment was to write a review about an article on the teaching/learning of Morphology. Simple as it seems, it took me away from blogging for a few days, hehe..

After I fried my brains during the exam last afternoon, I was greeted with a bulging looking envelope back at home. Yay~!!! The prizes that I won from 2 of Kak Fieda's GAs has arrived! ^_^

The bear keychain has a really sweet smell! Hannah likes smelling the bear sometimes. And my youngest bro Aslam quickly bagged the turtle keychain for himself.

Hannah is the Cutest Baby of the Planet - June 2011~!!!

Harry Potter preparation marathon

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 has started screening in cinemas across Malaysia yesterday.

Although I'm unable to go watch, I've been preparing myself for the most-anticipated movie of all times. I've reread the Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows book, juz so that I can memorise the story well enough.

I've watched 2 previous Harry Potter movies: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban & Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.



My fave character is Ron Weasley. I like him in print & also on screen, hihi~.. Let's take a look at other characters of the last movie.

Actually.........I'm juz jealous of my frens who have watched the film. Huhu~.... I wanna watch it too!!!!! >_<

The cute & very soft pillow is a product of Spinkie's. I have been informed to snap pics & blog about mine & Hannah's experience about the pillow. I'll write about it as soon as I can. ^_^

The 2nd prize I received is from GA 6th Anniversary by Kakyong. I got this lovely quilled bookmark, beautifully handmade by Zuneta Card Craft.

You could clearly see that the craftsperson has made the bookmark with great care & the flower petals are very detailed. Thanks a bunch, Zuneta & Kakyong. It's soooooo pretty that I feel it's too precious to be used when I read. >_<
